Traffic Police to maintain tourists’ data

Recentfusion.com–Pokhara: Western Region Traffic Police Office (WRTPO) Monday pledged to record the number of entering foreign tourists to Pokhara. This commitment done in an interaction held between WRTPO chief SP Prakash Adhikari and Western Regional Hotel Association Pokhara (WRHAP) in Pokhara.

According to WRHA president Bharat Raj Parajuli traffic police will help to maintain visiting foreign tourists’ data in Lekhnath- Dandako Naak and Choorepatan–two major entry points of Pokharar. Though Tourism Office Pokhara has been recording visiting foreign tourists since few years ago, such task has been halted without any reason for few years.

Similarly WRTPO SP Adhikari and WRTPO executives discussed to create favorable visiting environment in western region. During the interaction, Adhikari vowed to make the easy excess environment to Indian tourist vehicles in southern bordering point.

WRTPO will also be flexible in renewing the visiting duration of Indian vehicles in Nepal and that office will help during insurance claiming process if any kind of accident met by visiting Indian tourists and vehicles.
