Chitwan : Nepali Congress leader Dr Ram Sharan Mahat said no other work can be accomplished without integration and management of People’s Liberation Army (PLA) combatants. The new constitution can be drafted only after integration and management of PLA fighters, he said talking to reporters at Bharatpur Airport. Mahat came here to take part in a programme. He claimed that PLA fighters are still under the Maoist command.
It is happening though the dual security system was removed. The first draft of the constitution cannot come by Aug 18 if PLA integration is not completed, he said, adding that the Special Committee is unaware of the proposal to provide Rs 400,000 to each fighter who wants to go for rehabilitation. In another context, he said the government should resign in accordance with the five-point agreement. RSS
