Tourism journalists united in Province 4

Executives of a newly formed tourism association.

Pokhara—A gathering of journalists who have been involving in the reporting of tourism related activities has formed a Nepal Tourism Journalists’ Association Province 4 in Pokhara on Friday. Journalist Hari Bastola has been unanimously selected as a chairman of ad-hoc committee.

At the same time, Govinda Subedi as senior vice chairman, Jamuna Sharma Barsha as woman vice chairman and Ghanshyam Pandey as general secretary are also the parts of the committee. Bijay Rana, Kamala Rana and Rohit Basnet have been selected as secretary, woman secretary and treasurer of the new committee. Likewise, Santosh Gautam, Rajan Upadhya, Sushil Subedi, Ratna Gurung and Rohit Raj Parajuli and Bhupal Gurung are the members of the committee.

NTJA central chairman Dhaniram Sharma briefed about the policies, guidelines and activities of his association. Federation of Nepali Journalists Province 4 Chairman Tribhuban Paudel promised for any kind of support to the newly formed committee of tourism journalists.

Federation of Nepalese Indigenous Journalists Kaski Chairman MB Astha Magar advised all the executives of new committee to carry out some creative activities. Newly elected Chairman Bastola expressed his commitment that he and his team would actively report tourism related news in the days to come.
