Pokhara—Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City (PLMC) Mayor Man Bahadur GC has presented policies and programs as well as the budget of Rs 6.5365bl for upcoming fiscal 2075/076 BS in the 3rd assembly of PLMC in Pokhara City Hall today.
The upcoming fiscal budget has focused on 12 development works as the project of national pride. Phewa and Begnas Lake conservation, systematic sewerage, Phewa-Begnas Monorail feasibility study, electric cables undergrounding, bus park and Phirke corridor are some of the projects that PLMC has included in the budget.
Rs 210,000,000 for various founds, Rs 2,237,922,401 for infrastructure development, Rs 355,160,353 for environment and disaster management, Rs 854,567,986 for social development, Rs 413,774,000 for economic development and Rs 306,126,256 for institutional development and service providing have been allocated for expenditure sides.
Similarly, social security allowance Rs 538,000,000, capital formation Rs 51,000,000, administrative expenditure Rs 1,320,000,000, Revenue and provincial allocation return Rs 460,000,000 and various projects and programs Rs 4,167,550,000 are also the allocated parts of the budget.
All the above mentioned expenditures would be fulfilled by the funds that would be received from federal and provincial government as well as from the internal and external revenue.
