317 patients benefited at free health camp in Tanahun

Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: All total 317 got their blood tested in United Reference Laboratory (URL) Pokhara and Lions Club of Tanahun Shukla Gandai Town (LCTSGT) Town organized free blood and urine test camp regarding diabetes and kidney in Belchautara of Tanahun today.

People from Sukla Gandaki Municipality and surrounding reached the health camp to test their blood. Western Regional Hospital Pokhara senior urologist Dr. Dhruba Bahadur Adhikari inaugurated the camp. Saying the collective effort of health workers, society and public people can improve the people’s health.

He also talked about the symptoms, cause and treatment system about diabetes and kidney disease. URL MD Thakur Prasad Pant informed that his organization has been carrying out such cams as a campaign for few years. He also said that the URL also conducts sensitive blood tests and the tests related to abroad sending.

Suklagandaki Municipality Office CEO Tilak Bahadur Khadka and Suklagandaki Civil Society President Dev Raj Khanal, LCTSGT first vice president Dirgha Bahadur Thapa, second vice president Pradip Thapa and joint secretary Kamal Gaire also expressed their views during the opening session chaired by LCTSGT founding president Durga Kumar Shrestha.
