Recentfusion.com—Pokhara: All total 40 teams are going to participate in inter-school-level handball tournament that is scheduled for June 20 to 23 in Pokhara.
Kaski District School Handball Association (KDSHA) is organizing this tournament in the context of World Handball Day and International Olymic Day.
20 teams in girl’s side and same number of teams in boys side will fight for the trophy and medals, informed tournament co-ordinator Ahok Shahi in a press meet organized in Pokhara on Friday.
Nepal Handball Association (NHA) and Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC) will assist the tournament which will be sponsored by Ekata Publication House (EPH) Kathamndu, informed association secretary Khim Gurung.
The tournament is to organize in the court of Kalika Battalion in Malepatan Pokhara. The first, 2nd and third team will bag 10 thousands, 5 thousands and 3 thousands rupees respectively.
Similarly, best player, best scorer, disciplined team will also be recognized in the tournament. NOC member NHA president Tej Gurung, EPH representitavie Sanjay Adhikari and KDSHA president also expressed their view during the press meet.
